Took Martin to Hanger Clinic Prosthetics & Orthotics for his first meeting =
with the people who will be making his prosthetic leg.

They took at a 3D image of his leg for a casting in which they will use to =
make the "socket" that will go over his amputated limb.
The preliminary socket will be ready for him to come in next Wednesday Febr=
uary 22 for a trial fitting to see how it feels and to make any adjustments=
for the final casting of the socket.
Once all adjustments are made they will then have him come back the followi=
ng week of the 27th of February and fit him with the finalize socket to use=
and take home to start walking around with.

So, if everything goes well Martin could be up and walking around on his ow=
n within 3 to 4 weeks from today. Definitely by the end of March he should =
be well adjusted to getting around on it and able to take care of his own n=
eeds without the dependence of someone being here.

All is going well and quickly for him as well as for all of us but until th=
en I still need everyone's help for him and me beginning next week.

Martins appointment to go back for the first fitting as I mentioned is next=
Wednesday on February 22nd at 12:00 pm.
I can't do this because I have all day "Go To Meetings" coordination from 1=
   0:00 am till 4:00 pm.

Can someone please volunteer to drive Martin to Hanger Clinic which is next=
    door to Baylor Hospital.

   Address:
   Hanger Clinic
   3910 Gaston Avenue
   Suite 150
   Dallas, Texas 75246

I also know that he will need to be taken to the Tom Landry Rehabilitation =
facility the following weeks after. I don't know how many sessions but it c=
ould be the next three weeks after.
May need volunteers to take him to those as well but right now we don't kno=
   w dates or times.
