Hi Rick!              > I usually log in by dialup, so when I logged in by web to help me know how to       >tell others how to get here, I was surprized to see that Espomen is not in the       > list of message areas that come up, until I enter [ Join/Resign Message Areas       > ].              Right.. each web user has to select the message areas they want to belong to       independently of their setting in the Telnet interface.. kind of a bummer       there ...              > Is there a special reason that Espomen is not on the first list?              So, yes, each user has to select the areas they want in [Join/Resign Message       Areas] the first time they use the Web interface.              After the first time they do that and click [Send Changes], they won't have to       do it on subsequent logins.              When I first tried the Web interface, I was able to 'find' the areas I wanted       with Firefox Web Browser by pressing Ctrl+F for the 'Find' prompt.              I typed in the message area I wanted to find on the page in that prompt. I       clicked on the area to mark it, and then pressed the "end" key to get to the       bottom of the list to see the [Send Changes] prompt, and clicked on that...              The [Home] key will take you to the top of the list of echos where [Send       Changes] is also listed, IIRC.              Take care,       Janis              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-1        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
