Is it too late to suggest threaded message bases, ala CNet?              Instead of each message and reply being numbered in sequence, Message 1        is 1 of course but the reply is Message 2... This always seemed        confusing to me.              CNet did it Message 1 and then contained inside that message was Reply 1        of 2 or however many replies there were. Then if someone created a whole        new post with a whole new subject, that would be message 2. So to        illustrate:                     Msg Title Posted By       -------------------------------------       1 This is Cool! Rich       2 Another new Post! Rich              General Chat [>              Choose message 1 you read the opening post, then replies would be able        to be read in order. A pointer would remember where you left off in        reading the thread so the next time you log in, if there is a new        message, it starts there so you don't have to go through all the        previous messages. But of course, you have an option to re read the        whole thread, if was say an older one and you wanted to get back up to        speed on the conversation.              So....              Msg Title Posted By       -------------------------------------       1 This is Cool! Rich        |        -Reply 1        -Reply 2              2 Another new Post! Rich                            Did I explain this OK? Or did I just confuse people? This is something        that I haven't been able to find in any other BBS software that I have        looked at. Even if it could made as an option that would be cool so        people can decide how they want their message bases to look.              I would use Enthral no doubt if it had this kind of message base.              --Rich                                                        On 9/1/12 10:59 PM, Mercyful Fate wrote:       > To: Netsurge       > $ Netsurge mentioned . .       > %       >> We need a new a version of Enthral.
