Hi, Denis! Recently you wrote in a message to Ardith Hinton:

    DM> What is "t7"?

AH> I've never been to Moscow... but this sounds to me like
AH> the name of a bus, commuter train, or subway route. I
AH> guess the name hasn't changed although the itinerary has
    AH> been modified somewhat. :-)

DM> Ardith, YES. It is elecrobus.

A bus which runs on electricity? In Vancouver, a lot of the buses
have poles on the roof which receive electrical power from overhead wires. We
call these trolley buses, but streetcars & some trains work the same way. :-)

    AH> What is communter train?

A commuter is a person who lives a considerable distance away from
where they work and uses a car &/or public transit (such as a bus or train) to
travel between a suburb or small community & the city on a regular basis.

English being the way it is, "commuter" began life as a noun which
nowadays may also be used... without inflection... as an adjective. :-)
