   English is such a hodge-podge of mixed rules and exceptions. I can empathize.   
      
   How about the terms ingress and egress?   
      
   Typically, they may refer to the ease or difficulty of getting in and out of   
   "something", even in traffic.  But I think you can make them work as a   
   substitute for your needs.
