I don't think any other GUI client lets one avoid       cartoonish icons and gradients and have a sharp and plain       interface. But I am not going to recommend it to a newbie       because it has no support of a killfile and its filters do       not work with NNTP accounts:               https://www.sraoss.jp/pipermail/sylpheed/2018-August/006681.html        [Respect filters in NNTP accounts]              And unlike FIDO, Usenet groups are full of filth and SPAM       these days...              ---        * Origin: nntps://fidonews.mine.nu - Lake Ylo - Finland (2:221/360)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/2 203/0 221/1 6 360 227/114 229/354 426 1014 240/100       SEEN-BY: 240/1120 1634 2100 5138 5832 5853 8001 8002 249/206 317 261/38       SEEN-BY: 280/5003 5006 313/41 317/3 320/219 322/757 335/364 342/200       SEEN-BY: 2454/119       PATH: 221/1 280/5003 240/1120 5832 229/426           |
