   but then one should also consider the time of the writing and how things were   
   said/written at that point in time...   
      
   i was helping a friend writing a book... i was proofreading and sending back   
   corrections... the problem was that i was correcting a lot of colloquialisms   
   that they had specifically put in to bring those speaking habits more to life   
   and make the characters more realistic for the area in which they lived...
