Date: Thu, 15 Mar 2007 13:13:51 -0400       From: WINSERVER SUPPORT       To: all       Subject: New AUP Gamm 452.1 03/15/2007       Newsgroups: winserver.public.gamma.testing       Message-ID: <1173986048.40.0@winserver.com>       X-Mailer: Wildcat! Interactive Net Server v7.0.454.5       Lines: 44              A new GAMMA was made available. To obtain it, type:               AUTOUPDATE /GAMMA              Pending any belated emergency concern, bug found or anything like this,        v6.2.452.1 appears to be very stable and this will be the final gamma        before the official release.              The changes/fixes in this GAMMA are:              - Fixed the web-side New Files Scanner. The web New Files        Scanners was fixed and improved and it is now ultra fast.              - Fixed the ANSI-side New Files Scanner. It was not showing        results depending on the user's access level.              - Added a new optional public/AccountCreated.HTM (or .WCT) page that        is shown after the new user account is created and before he        needs to login again to complete the new user signup process.        This will give users a better idea of whats going on.               However, the default AccountCreated.wct will be part of the        optional signup/validate modules that will be distributed separately.        CD install will automatically have it. For the AUP, we will make        it available via the SIGNUP module we will provide on the BBS.               The main point here is that the Web Server will look for this file        if it is available after the user creates his account and before        he is asked to login to start the /NEWUSER questionnaire process.               It is not a big secret. The file, which you can create yourself        simple says:               Thank you. Your account is created, please login to        create the signup process               [ Click here to login]               With the URL to login pointing to /NEWUSER which will begin        the validation (if any) or questionnaire (if any) process but        it will ask the user to login first.              --         HLS       --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.1        * Origin: Prison Board BBS Mesquite Tx //telnet.RDFIG.NET www.
