   Like the other languages I had an opportunity to study in 'junior high', Latin   
   for me was another failure.  OTOH, the short time devoted to its study has   
   helped immensely throughout the half-century since.  Now, when faced with a   
   spell-checker at my advanced stage of life that lists a number of alternative   
   variations for what it considered to be an error (in that I wanted to use the   
   *same* string as you've corrected me with), what am I to do?  Oops.  ;-)
