   True.  For a start, in populated country & suburban areas here there is   
   _never_ snow on the ground in winter.  (Generally speaking, that is, as there   
   are occasional localized exceptions.)  Nor is there ever ice in any form other   
   than as cubes, in our drinks.   
      
   We in Maryborough are 'uncomfortable' as soon as the temperature drops below   
   +20C.  I am immobile at anything in the range +5-+15C.   
      
   In short: our winter here is unreal.  Yahoo!  :)
