             Ah.  One of the things I like about my CANADIAN OXFORD DICTIONARY is   
   that it's designed to be used in international communication... and another is   
   that it lists proper nouns where many older dictionaries don't.   
      
             When I looked up William Bligh, I read "He was captain of HMS BOUNTY   
   on a voyage to the West Indies."   
      
             You might try that with your dictionary too....  :-)

             Yes, when we use a mixture of upper & lower case letters in the name   
   of a book we capitalize the first word... whatever it is.  After that we don't   
   capitalize articles, prepositions, or conjunctions.  :-)
