Hi again, Alexander! This is a continuation of my previous message to you:              ak> Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 8th edition                      Ah. One of the things I like about my CANADIAN OXFORD DICTIONARY is       that it's designed to be used in international communication... and another is       that it lists proper nouns where many older dictionaries don't.               When I looked up William Bligh, I read "He was captain of HMS BOUNTY       on a voyage to the West Indies."               You might try that with your dictionary too.... :-)                            ak> HMS Bounty                      Formal name.                            ak> ( also The Bounty )                      Informal version, with or without capitalization of "the".                            ak> See also Mutiny on the Bounty                      Yes, when we use a mixture of upper & lower case letters in the name       of a book we capitalize the first word... whatever it is. After that we don't       capitalize articles, prepositions, or conjunctions. :-)                                   --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+        * Origin: Wits' End, Vancouver CANADA (1:153/716)    |
