   The aspiration to protect one's culture from dissolving in   
   another is a noble and commendable one, and especially so in   
   our age of globalization.  Language being the most important   
   medium of culture, it is also the first to suffer when its   
   mother culture is under attack.   
      
   The Society for Pure English was formed as an attempt to   
   preserve the English culture through the preservation of the   
   English tongue.  Their tract no. III treats of the question
