   Possibly.  It might have made it easier for the Hindi/Urdu scam (scum)   
   telemarketers who have a lot of trouble pronouncing the "QU" sound.   
      
   OTOH I'm comforted by the thought that my family's name was originally Cuin   
   (with an optional "O'" prefix), in the old Irish (11th century).  8-)
