Hi! Alexander,              On 28 Jan 16 21:31, you wrote to me:               PQ>> I'm using my little Dell Latitude 2100 netbook.              [ ...trimmed... ]               PQ>> I was just lucky it chose the test site to crash on. ;)               ak> You can also try your finger - this netbook has a touchscreen. :)              Yes, it's in the specifications for the model. However at the retail point       it's an option, one that I chose not to accept. OTOH, one option I did choose       was to have Ubuntu Linux pre-loaded and we saved a further 80-odd dollars. :)              That was back in 2009. When a 2010 upgrade to a follow-on Ubuntu version       failed, I installed a copy of Puppy Linux on it though I usually use a USB       boot stick (which has options for doing the same on another four PCs). I       should say that booting machines with Puppy via a USB drive is a natural act,       for which it was designed.              Cheers,       Paul.              ... __________/oo\__________ "Is it OK to come out yet?"       --- Paul's Win98SE VirtualBox        * Origin: Quinn's Post - Maryborough, Queensland, OZ (3:640/384)    |
