|    A fluffy brush for dust removing    |

Hi, Alexander! Recently you wrote in a message to All:              ak> I wanted to order in an American e-shop a thing for       ak> dust removing. But I don't know what do you call it.              ak> It is a light fluffy stick with a handle, covered       ak> with long fibers. Every fiber (if the thing is not       ak> a counterfeit) is electrified electrostatically. As       ak> a result when I sweep it over the dusty surface all       ak> dust clings to the thing's fibers. To remove the clung       ak> dust I should put it out of my window and shake it.                      Electrostatic duster? We have one. It's made of synthetic fibres       which become statically charged when you sweep them over a dusty surface.               When clothing made of such fibres is dried in a machine with other       clothing made of cotton, you may get "static cling". Same principle.... :-)                      BTW...               I'm using the UK spelling of "fibres" because as a Canadian I'm at       liberty to use the spelling I prefer, not because I'm correcting you.... ;-)                                   --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+        * Origin: Wits' End, Vancouver CANADA (1:153/716)    |
