Hi, Denis! Recently you wrote in a message to All:              DM> Subject.              DM> How it explain?                      I'll need more information before I can explain it.... ;-)                             Trying to guess what you'd like us to explain:                      1) In English we often use noun pairs such as               kitchen door               pencil sharpener               and               computer desk              in which the first noun functions as an adjective. The combination you cited       here is not one I've seen or heard, though. Can you add an example of how it       might be used in a sentence?                             2) OTOH, I wonder whether you may be trying to figure out the       difference between "invention"               ... i.e. invention, not inventory...              and "imagination". While "invention" and "inventory" appear to come from +/-       the same Latin root, they have different meanings.                      Again, an example would be helpful.... :-)                                   --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+        * Origin: Wits' End, Vancouver CANADA (1:153/716)    |
