   My initial thoughts on the tale centered on the incredible timing required to   
   snatch & return the star author.  For the longest time I pondered on a   
   probable time-travelling paradox but, by making allowances for an intelligent   
   time-travller, then it could actually work.   
      
   There again, I guess even 'Bill & Ted' could pull it off.  Given that they   
   leave enough sticky note reminders for required retrospective actions, of   
   course.[giggle]

   That's strange.  I'm reminded of a book or short story titled "Support Your   
   Local Police".  By Robert Heinlein?  Was it Heinlein?  Do I get a cookie?  :)
