Over the years a number of Russians have told me they enjoy learning       about the idiomatic and/or metaphorical expressions we use in English. I felt       the same way as a student of French, and I still enjoy this stuff in my native       language too. Anyway, here's something I think will be of general interest:                      A Collection of Confusible [also spelled "Confusable",        depending on where you look] Phrases               by Yuri Dolgopolov                      http://www.tinyurl.com./K68ufgL                                   --- timEd/386 1.10.y2k+        * Origin: Wits' End, Vancouver CANADA (1:153/716)    |
