   Not only that, but to take what you're reading into context so that when   
   you come across a word that is spelled the same as another, but has a   
   different meaning, you'll be able to distinguish the meaning of the word   
   by the context in which it is used.

   www.freedictionary.com has a feature where you can hear the word being   
   spoken in English so that you can pronounce it correctly. It also helps to   
   say the word out-loud, so you can hear it being spoken with a 'Russian'   
   accent. 8^)
