Hi, Ardith Hinton!       I read your message from 22.04.2014 00:36       about Some observations.               ak>> * Origin: *** nntp://rbb.bbs.fi *** Lake Ylo *** Finland ***        ak>> (2:221/361?)               AH> Finland, eh?? Wonderful, wonderful! During the past several months        AH> we heard from Sweden & the Netherlands for the first time... and I        AH> was pleased about that because we've borrowed so much of the        AH> English language from similar sources. Be warned, guys. I may want        AH> to pick your brains now & then.... ;-)               AH> We don't always know who's carrying the echo unless somebody posts        AH> a message from their system. Glad to know we've made it to Finland        AH> too.... :-)              NNTP is a cool thing. For instance, Facebook or any other social network       can be switched off in one second for all their users. But NNTP network       has a lot of servers, and you can read/write from any of them. If one       server is down for some reason, you always have a possibility to check       your echoes using another server. If an NNTP server doesn't have a       particular echoes you can ask its administrator and he will include it       in the list.              Bye, Ardith!       Alexander Koryagin       fido.english_tutor 2014              --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:17.0) Gecko/20130328 Thunderbird/17.0.5        * Origin: *** nntp://rbb.bbs.fi *** Lake Ylo *** Finland *** (2:221/361)    |
