Hi, Denis! Recently you wrote in a message to All:

DM> My name is Denis. I'm Russian student and I want to
DM> improve my English skills. I can help with Russian
DM> and I'm looking for someone who help me with English.
DM> If you or your friends are intrested in it, let me know.

That's what the ENGLISH_TUTOR echo is for. You may not be getting
as much out of it as you could be, though. I have some ideas on the subject:

    1) I see you're writing more often now than you did initially, and I see your
English improving with practice. That's the spirit! Keep it up.... :-)

    2) There are only so many hours in a day. While I may not be able to respond
in writing to every message which interests me, other folks here will probably
be glad to help if you have posted your comments & questions in the echo where
all can see them. As we say in English, "Many hands make light work".... :-)

    3) If you'd like your readers to correct your spelling & grammar you may find
you get better results by specifically asking them to do it.

    4) A simple way in which you can practise your English *and* help other folks
learn a bit of Russian is to do as Alexander suggested... use English in stock
phrases such as greetings, or use Latin characters to spell Russian words.

       Пpиветствую, alexander!

In this example I can figure out the names, the day of the month, the year,
and the time. When I'm trying to follow a conversation and/or track down a
message which has disappeared en route to BC I often find such information
useful. The rest makes no more sense to me than my accent marks probably make
to you... but over the years many of us have learned how to demystify things
for one another. They use Latin characters, I spell out my accent marks,
   everybody wins.... ;-)
