   Ivan Shmakov to All
   "The Fall" lyrics

   From: Ivan Shmakov

   	So, I've tried to translate Yegor Letov's "The Fall" (as appears
   	on "What The Dreams Come For?") lyrics (as per [1]) myself. The
   	question remains the same: does the text below make sense?

   No more feast, and no regret,
   We may leave, we may forget,
   Whoever has been doing it,
   Whatever has been done,
     No one has lost.

   Trusty holdings are on their places,
   Nasty smiles are burning on faces;
   The eternal draw's a heavy load,
     No one has lost.

       At the entrance, in the morning,
       Milk's for cats to drink;
         Rocks and songs into the void.

   Whatever I've been sawing, whatever I've sung of,
   Whatever I've believed in, whatever wished I of,
   Wherever I've been falling to,
   Whomever I've fought,
     No one has lost.

       Under a guelder-rose bush,
       The fall is all year long.
         Twilight comes and thought of nothing.
         Rocks and songs into the void.
         Twilight comes and thought of nothing.
         Rocks and songs into the void.
