INteresting vhf qso: Yesterday at 16:20 UTC. approximately
This op finally spoke to a regular.JIm wu5e was passing
through the area on his way home from Little ROck, Arkansas
yesterday morning. I note him checking in on my watch 21
times since 2008, but this has been the first time I ever
actually got to speak to him.

Jim of course is stationed at Fort Campbell, and often
travels in service to his country using his personal ride so
he can enjoy ham radio while enroute. It was good to finally
put a voice with a call sign. Had the weather been better I
would have tried to set up a quick eyeball when he passed
through on the big slab just north of us, but didn't feel
like getting Kathy ready for a trek to the truck stop in the
   rain.
