Hello all!                     IT looks like the start of this next work week could be       interesting for folks in Mississippi, NOrthern Louisiana and points east and       north.       From what I'm hearing from weather forecasters from Shreveport north to       Memphis it appears anywhere north       of interstate 30 is likely to have some snow accumulations       Sunday afternoon and evening into the small hours of MOnday       morning. South of I-30 to I-20 could likely be freezing       rain/sleet with possible snow, and rains south of i-20.              AS we all know the ice is as bad for our infrastructure as       the heavy snows in this part of the world. Power       distribution could be impacted, so get that emergency power       situation seen to tomorrow folks. Put them batteries on       trickle charge if needed, and make sure you're stocked up on essential food       and medications. IT appears this might get       stupid.              WHile you're at it make sure you've got temporary antennas       fabricated, as ice accumulation might do some not so nice       things to them as well.              73                     Regards,        Richard       --- timEd 1.10.y2k+        * Origin: (1:116/901)    |
