If there is one thing that we learn from the Scriptures, it is that our God   
   is a just, righteous, patient and merciful God. As I point out in some of my   
   articles, such as "Beholding the Evil and the Good" and "Love, Mercy,   
   Forgiveness and Chastisement", just like a loving parent, He does not just   
   suddenly and unexpectedly punish us when we go astray. He makes His Laws   
   perfectly clear to us, and then He gives us ample time to repent of our sins   
   before He decides to lower the rod.   
      
   Such is the case with the same-sex "marriage" law which was just signed by   
   liberal New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo this past Friday. At the height of   
   Albany's darkest hour, God's vote was voiced, and His Law was made known, in   
   spite of attempts by the forces of darkness -- that is, supporters of the   
   same-sex "marriage" law -- to silence it.   
      
   While I was aware of the fact that four New York Republican senators had   
   gone against their fellow Republicans by voting in favor of the same-sex   
   "marriage" law, what I didn't know until a few moments ago, is that just   
   prior to the fateful legislative vote, one lone Democratic senator -- Ruben   
   Diaz Sr. of the Bronx -- likewise opposed his fellow Democratic senators and   
   spoke out against the law to legalize gay and lesbian "marriage" in New   
   York.   
      
   While I don't have the full text of Mr. Diaz's two-minute speech, according   
   to news sources, when the presiding officer tried to silence him, Senator   
   Diaz stated in part "You don't want to hear me . . . God, not Albany, has   
   settled the definition of marriage, a long time ago."   
      
   So God's Light and Truth shone through, even amidst all of that darkness,   
   and I have no doubt that God will eventually hold accountable every single   
   senator who voted in favor of the bill, as well as Governor Cuomo, Mayor   
   Bloomberg, and every other person and celebrity who supported that ungodly   
   law.   
      
   Mr. Diaz, you are to be commended. Even if it eventually costs you in a   
   political sense for having made such a brave stand, know this: God has most   
   certainly seen your courage, and your willingness to expose the sin of your   
   political colleagues.
