Unfortunately, I can't        > even start the executable, it complains about an error in line 60 of the        > config. The war.cfg file only shows 59 lines of info, and line 60 is all        > hypens. The executable says it needs to be A, N or P but not what for. Any        > ideas anyone?        >        > ---                     everyone that says they wrote to john dailey with no answer ended up finding       out that he DID answer them, they just didn't look in their spam folder or       they overlooked it somehow.              here is my working war.cfg from datastream with       redacted info       https://pastebin.com/raw/cgCdX4xa              Also, you ran into problems and didn't bother to read the documentation.       in 1 minute i pulled it up and did a search and found this              "LINE 59: Allow Direct Fortifications? (A/N/P) (P recommended)        Enabling Direct Fortifications allows a player to fortify armies from        one country directly to any other country, provided he occupies both        countries and all countries in between so as to form a continuous        chain of connected countries. The move is counted as 1 fortification        move regardless of the distance between the countries. With Direct        Fortifications disabled, fortifications can only occur between the        player's adjacent countries, with each fortification counting as one        move. A : All games will use Direct Fortifications N : No games will        use Direct Fortifications. Disables Direct Fortifications in all        games. P : Allows a player to choose if he wants Direct Fortifications        enabled or disabled (for that game only) when he begins a new game.       "              this paragraph explains what a/n/p stands for              so i think you're trying too hard. just relax and check for your mistakes.       --- SBBSecho 3.15-Linux        * Origin: Vertrauen - [vert/cvs/bbs].synchro.net (1:103/705)       SEEN-BY: 1/19 123 15/0 16/0 19/10 37 90/1 92/1 103/705 105/81 106/201       SEEN-BY: 120/340 123/130 131 129/305 331 142/799 153/7715 154/10 203/0       SEEN-BY: 218/700 221/1 6 360 227/114 229/110 111 112 113 200 206 275       SEEN-BY: 229/317 400 424 426 428 452 470 550 664 700 240/1120 5832       SEEN-BY: 266/512 280/5003 282/1038 301/1 113 317/3 320/119 219 319       SEEN-BY: 322/0 757 325/304 326/101 335/364 341/66 342/19 200 396/45       SEEN-BY: 423/81 460/58 633/280 712/848 4500/1 5020/1042       PATH: 103/705 301/1 221/6 1 320/219 229/426           |
