   The only major problem with "fast" computers is due to a bug in some Pascal   
   programs which will happen under any OS, but is easily patched:

   And if we fast forward another decade or so, 64bit OSs cannot run DOS programs   
   without a full emulator.  If you want to run your BBS on your latest Windows 7   
   64bit six core god box, VirtualBox or VMWare are your friends.

   Is there any reason you want to use ancient hardware and operating systems?    
   Unless you specifically want to get your old board running exactly as it was,   
   get your hands on a copy of W2K/XP and be done with it.
