Hello,              I was wondering if anyone was still here?              I am interested to know if anyone still run old dos based bbs software       AND have their system on internet, telnet?              If so do you have problems with fossil drivers?              My system is configured around BNU, and I am trying to figure out how to       make my system telnet capable and of course the main reason is to get       these wonderful old door games back in use.              My setup is a 3 node dos based work station type network running       everything on an old Novell Netware 3.11 server. The workstations are       for all practical purposes a monitor, keyboard, and a modem. After       bootup and connecting to the network, the local hard drive is rarely       used any further.              I thought maybe OS/2 might be a choice. I found out quickly that I am       OS/2 challanged and it is problematic at best. OS/2 insists on iee 802.2       framework topology and netware uses 802.3. OS/2 does NOT like bnu.       OS/2 wants lots of ram, the machine I have is only capable of 512meg.       OS/2 project: shelved due to my inability to understand it.              I have heard that the faster machines pentium 3 and faster the old       software like doors have problems running under say Win XP.       Win XP also has problematic issues. No built in support for Novell.              So does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my ancient hardware on       telnet/internet?                                          ...
