First, they        Fz> don't        Fz> MK> work with my fossil driver unless I use the commandline "NOFOSSIL"        Fz> instead        Fz> MK> of "FOSSIL".               Fz> Just a guess, but did you mistype FOSSIL when you were trying it the first        Fz> time? It just seeks "FOSSIL" on the command line instead of looking for        Fz> any exact match. So "TRIBINGO.EXE FOSSIL" enables FOSSIL as does        Fz> "TRIBINGO.EXE pleasedonotusetheFOSSILorweallaregonnadierighthereandnow".               Fz> The docs don't seem to be fully updated throughout. So the bits where it        Fz> states to use "FOSSILOFF" to disable automatic FOSSIL detection actually        Fz> will enable its use. But the current behavior is shown in the command        Fz> line parameters section.               Fz> MK> Also, if I run door.bat tb%1.cfg NOFOSSIL for tribingo as an        Fz> MK> example, it always loads tb1.cfg and the user name is always        Fz> MK> interpreted as the node 1 user.               Fz> I haven't checked the docs for all of the games, but in Tri-Bingo at        Fz> least:               Fz> -- SNIP --               Fz> The setup of Tri-Bingo changes the way my previous doors are setup. I now        Fz> support and require the use of Environment Variables to supply the game        Fz> with the Com Port and Node Directory information. The game will read any        Fz> environment variable that you supply so names are not critical.               Fz> The game now only reads the TRIBINGO.CFG file and will not accept any        Fz> other name for the configuration file. So this is the file that will        Fz> contain the environment variables.              Yeah, I'm using just the main config for each game; it seems to ignore what's       actually specified with %WCNODEID% set to the node number and using that to       specify that path to the dropfile. The docs say that some systems may need       to use NOFOSSIL, which works for me. If I don't use that command, it doesn't       seem to work properly. I didn't try just using "FOSSIL", so it may indeed       just be pickign that up... Any way, everything is working for me now!              --       Shurato, Sysop Shurato's Heavenly Sphere (ssh, telnet, pop3, ftp, nntp,       ,wss) (Ports 22,23,110,21,119,999)                     *** THE READER V4.50 [freeware]       ---        * Origin: Shurato's Heavenly Sphere telnet://shsbbs.net (1:340/1101)       SEEN-BY: 105/81 106/201 128/187 129/14 305 153/7715 154/110 218/700       SEEN-BY: 226/30 227/114 229/110 200 206 307 317 400 426 428 550 664       SEEN-BY: 229/700 705 266/512 291/111 300/6 320/219 322/757 340/0 101       SEEN-BY: 340/200 400 800 1100 1101 342/200 396/45 60 633/280 712/848       SEEN-BY: 902/26 5020/400 5075/35       PATH: 340/1101 400 128/187 229/426           |
