   Maybe Space Quest 2112?  There is a DOS Door and a Win32 server. telnet to   
   shsbbs.net:2112 to check it out!  It's pretty fun and more arcade than turn   
   based. I don't know if you can take over other ships though, so this might   
   not be what you're refering to.
