I play games        RS> to relax now and have adjusted my difficultly level accordingly. I decided        RS> to give it another try recently and really enjoyed the game. Based on some        RS> changes I saw when I restarted I think others must have felt the same way.              I've had and played the game since early beta days and and a love/hate       relationship with the game. I don't care for the 'difficulty' settings, at one        end, all th ewildlife other than moose run away from you so quickly you have       slim chance of hunting. At the next difficulty the wolves will hunt you in       packs and make it difficult to survive at all. I've not even tried the next       two 'more' difficult levels.              The same thing happened to me Story mode, but in reverse. It started quite       difficult and dying before I would reach the end of the story, but later       updates seem to make it almost impossible _not_ to get to the end. Story mode       does have some encounters that are set, you will get mauled by the bear       multiple times, etc, but it rarely kills you.              I enjoy the sandbox mode the best, and am thankful for periodic updates to the       maps as I typically play in exploration mode because I have having to deal with        wolves attacking me multiple times each day.              --JH              ... I have an existential map. It has 'You are here' written all over it.       --- SBBSecho 3.10-Linux        * Origin: The Universal JoiNT - bbs.ujoint.org (1:154/40)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 123 14/5 15/0 2 18/0 19/36 34/999 90/1 104/115 106/201       SEEN-BY: 114/224 702 705 706 116/18 116 120/331 123/0 25 50 115 140       SEEN-BY: 123/150 170 755 128/2 73 187 253 135/300 153/7715 154/10       SEEN-BY: 154/30 40 700 218/700 222/2 227/114 201 400 229/101 426 1014       SEEN-BY: 230/150 152 240/5832 249/206 307 317 400 250/1 261/38 100       SEEN-BY: 266/512 267/155 275/10 282/1031 1056 291/1 111 298/25 300/4       SEEN-BY: 305/1 3 310/2 312/2 317/3 320/119 219 322/757 340/400 342/13       SEEN-BY: 342/200 396/45 640/1321 712/848 801/189 2320/105 3005/1 3634/0       SEEN-BY: 3634/12 15 27 50 119 5020/1042       PATH: 154/40 10 3634/12 261/38 15/0 317/3 229/426           |
