   I worked at a software company with a call center. We'd wait until closing,   
   head over to customer service, place a 6-way conference call with the players   
   over the LAN and play cooperative mode until my mouse arm was sore.   
      
   Back then we were on a shared ethernet segment and would kill off the network,   
   much to the annoyance of people working late. Soon after that we bought our   
   first Ethernet switch, so each department had a 10 megabit connection in to the   
   backbone. 20-30 people sharing a 10 megabit connection -- my, how far we've   
   come!
