   Certainly sounds like high blood sugar to me.  Have they taken the pup to the   
   vet and had a complete blood panel run? Could also be a pancreatitis issue. My   
   question is, where are all the ants coming from IN the house?  I'd certainly   
   take care of that issue with an exterminator!!
