   if it affects our dogs, then it also affects us humans, doesn't it?   
      
   we've never had any problems with our dogs and onions... it is one of the   
   flavor "spices" that we add to their foods specifically to deter them from   
   eating raw meats and similar... onions, garlic, peppers (spicy and sweet),   
   etc... all of our dogs have lived to very ripe old ages...
