|    Milton Friedman    |

BK>> Milton Friedman used to be the conservative icon for economics.               EC> This was Krugman's column on the 11th, and Klahn takes        EC> nearly two weeks to echo it. The only real difference is               Croasmun is too ignorant to realize, the local newspaper does        not publish Krugman's column the day he writes it. The Toledo        Blade prints one Krugman column a week, on Monday. That        particular column ran on Aug 19. My msg was posted the 22nd.               However, if it took me two months to post, I would not        apologize. Seems Croasmun thinks he gets to set priorities for        the world.               EC> that Krugman glosses over the specifics and offers no        EC> substance. Klahn doesn't understand the subject, cannot        EC> give any specifics, and is completely unable to offer any        EC> substance.               Long time ago, in one of these debates, Croasmun said, "...I am        an economist."               I challenged him on that. He never responded and he has never        repeated the claim. I understood quite well what Krugman was        saying. Krugman did include enough specifics in a general        audience article to support his claims.               I have repeatedly posted economic analysis Croasmun derides, but        never refutes, or even tries to rebut. All he has is cheap        shots.               Face it, Croasmun is a wannabe economic guru, Krugman is a real        economist.                            BOB KLAHN bob.klahn@sev.org http://home.toltbbs.com/bobklahn              --- Via Silver Xpress V4.5/P [Reg]        * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 Join Us: www.DocsPlace.org (1:123/140)    |
