   Been reading a bit about those American's that worked with the Chinese Commies   
   during WWII.   
      
   Carlson, of the Carlson Raiders spent a lot of time with them and liked the no   
   real leader concept - something his fellow Marine officers would never buy.    
   "Carlson may be RED but he's not YELLOW"     
      
   Then some other groups supplying them to fight the Japanese.  These later   
   groups said if we would have sided with Mao et al after WWII it might have   
   possible to keep them from going hard core commie when the finally did take   
   over?   
      
   Who knows for sure?   
      
   One thing that has come out is that Chaing was actually selling permits to raid
