Landed planes on their ships etc.               BB> That should prove that times do indeed change. :)               BK> Yep, 1942 China and Russia were our allies.                             Oh yeah. :) The classic enemy of my enemy is my friend. :)              Been reading a bit about those American's that worked with the Chinese Commies       during WWII.              Carlson, of the Carlson Raiders spent a lot of time with them and liked the no       real leader concept - something his fellow Marine officers would never buy.        "Carlson may be RED but he's not YELLOW"               Then some other groups supplying them to fight the Japanese. These later       groups said if we would have sided with Mao et al after WWII it might have       possible to keep them from going hard core commie when the finally did take       over?              Who knows for sure?              One thing that has come out is that Chaing was actually selling permits to raid       our supply lines. :)                                           --- MultiMail/Win32 v0.49        * Origin: Fidonet Since 1991 Join Us: www.DocsPlace.org (1:123/140)    |
