   The Left's Abortion Guilt
   23 Dec 18 15:21:26

BK>>Funny, all this talk against abortion, yet not one word about
BK>>medical care after the child is born, about insuring the child
   BK>>has a decent life.

TR> Insuring each child `has a decent life' is not the
TR> responsibility of the taxpayer. That burden falls on the
TR> shoulders of the `parents'of each child.

The Catholic Church says otherwise, which is why the Catholic
church has the moral high ground on this issue.

OTOH, where the hell do you get off deciding what a pregnant
woman should do if you won't take any responsibility for the
    result?

    ...

TR> But Lincoln was right in HIS way as well; for those who
TR> view such things as abortion from a strict religious point
TR> of view, the choice is between good and evil. And, to a
TR> practicing, devout Christian believer....there really was
TR> NO choice, only obedience to Christian, biblical teachings.
TR> The Commandment against murder is un-ambiguous, and clearly
TR> a child, unborn or otherwise, is protected under that
    TR> Commandment:

As is Christ's instruction to feed the hungry, house the
    homeless etc.

TR> Planned Parenthood Targets Black Women - Star Parker

    TR> May 06, 2013

   ...

TR> Yet, once again, those standards have gotten lost. And,
TR> once again, black Americans are bearing the brunt of the
TR> cost of a nation that has lost its moral rudder. This time
TR> as result of wantonly legal and available abortion.

Where are black women being forced to have abortions? Yet they
are compelled by economic circumstances all too often.

TR> According to the Centers for Disease Control, blacks
TR> accounted for 35.4 percent of abortions performed in 2009,
TR> despite representing, according to the 2010 census, just
TR> 13.6 percent of the US population.

Being poor does tend to lead that way.

    ...

TR> Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion provider,
TR> systematically targets minority women for abortion.

More like the right wing targets black women for poverty, and
planned parenthood just locates clinics near those who need
    their service most.

    ...

TR> Sanger, whose racist and eugenicist views are well
TR> documented, replied, "I believe the biggest sin in the
TR> world is parents bringing children into the world that have
TR> disease from their parents, that have no chance in the
TR> world to be a human being practically. Delinquents,
TR> prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they are
    TR> born."

Opinions very similar to that are repeated frequently when
condemning unmarried women, and all too often black women are
target for that condemnation, all too often by commentators on
    the right.

    ...

TR> You'd think he was addressing Ronald McDonald House, not an
TR> organization that provided 333,964 abortions last year,
    TR> disproportionately on black women.

TR> Black unemployment and poverty rates are almost double the
TR> national averages. I suppose Planned Parenthood, with
TR> support from our president, and $542 million in taxpayer
TR> funds, feels it is doing its part to solve this problem.

It is quite clear the right wing in America is doing nothing to
    solve this problem.

BTW, I pointed these unemployment and poverty rates out to you
    years ago.
