Wow, what an innovative idea. Perhaps I'll do that. Putting on
my jackboots of ultimate free speech and nonoppression in moderation
   sounds like a joy.

    > The one who will not be named can also do the same thing.

I'm sure he'll be overjoyed, as well.

    > The question of the day is, what the hell is stopping you?
    > It certainly isn't me. And it most certainly isn't Bob K.
    > So what is it? Can you tell me? Or is it that you simply
    > do not want to?

I think you overestimate the amount of care that I have invested
in this. I engage in the banter that I do because I see an injustice and
I want to comment on it. I'm not so naive as to think that it will be
corrected. It's a good wind-up for my day when I'm getting spooled up for
all of the red tape and useless bullshit that life in this society has to
throw at me for the day-- drinking my coffee and engaging in really
juvenile debate with people that have years (that they BRAG about)
invested in picking up the same rotten glob of fly-egg infested feces over
and over again and throwing it back and forth at the same people over and
over and over again. It hasn't ceased to amuse me yet, it scratches that
irritated itch that I get when I see it, and like I said, it passes the
   time while I'm caffinating.
Why don't I start my new echo? Because anything that I might
start it about it already covered in the echo topics that I already have,
and population of FidoNet pretty much goes to prove right now that
people's needs are already met by the echoes in place. It'd be a fool's
venture to try to recruit sysops to pick up the new echo and to populate
it and then begin gathering enough topical critical-mass to get the echo
   self-sustaining.
Why don't you go into detail on why my protesting of juvenile
shit-slinging festivals and piss-poor moderation irritates you enough to
try to sell me on an idea that you, surely, with your time invested in
FidoNet, already know is destined to fail?

    > Maybe you are a newbie, and do not know how to set up a new echo.
    > That could be it. Too embarrassed to ask how to do it, having your
    > own pride. I understand. Well, here's how to do it -

Pretty sure I could figure it out, bruh. I'll just delete the
rest of your benevolent tutorial here and not waste more of both of our
   time responding to that crap.

   [snip]

    > See how simple that is?

It was really simple! I don't know how I'll ever thank you
enough. Seriously, though, why does my conduct here stick in your craw so
bad? Aside from the sarcasm that I heavily dosed this post with prior to
this point, I _AM_ really interested in the answer to that question.

-The opinions expressed are not necessarily an advocation of any of the
aforementioned ideologies, concepts, or actions. We still have the freedom of
speech, for now, and I enjoy using it in a satirical or ficticious manner to
   amuse myself-
