   There are now even those who want to `limit' what you can have to drink ala   
   mayor Bloomberg....and it is proposed to prevent people from smoking in their   
   own abodes!   
      
      
   There is no argument that smoking isn't healthy for you. Nobody would try to   
   present an argument that it is harmless. But they have spilt that argument   
   into legislation that restricts areas where `smoking' is allowed.   
      
      
   I smoked cigarettes from the time I was about 13 onward...right up till about   
   thirty years ago when I quit the habit. For many years I smoked nothing, and   
   its only within the last fifteen years or so I've taken to puffing on a cigar,   
   or one of my briarwood pipes while driving. I don't inhale tobacco products   
   anymore, and haven't for over thirty years...but I like to puff a cigar or   
   puff on one of my pipes once in awhile in the car, or when I'm working around   
   in my workshop on some project or other.   
      
      
   They restricted places out here where you are allowed to smoke at all in some   
   public places. In public buildings for instance...all ashtrays have   
   disappeared, and there are `no smoking' signs all over the place. In hallways,   
   or resturants, or even bars and saloons, all smoking has been banned because   
   somebody.....SOMEwhere....might `object' to you lighting up in their presence!

   Where that idea came from is beyond me. We are no such thing...and shouldn't   
   think of ourselves as such. Holding such an opinion of ourselves is (to my   
   mind) nothing but insufferable arrogance!   
      
      
   The Second World War is over for almost 60 years! The Communist threat that   
   hung over post WWII Europe is gone....Germany has been punished with great   
   severity for its evil deeds during the Hitlerian era, although now...sixty   
   years later...the Jews are still pounding on the `holocaust' drum to whip up   
   support and sympathy for a small nation that has succeeded in involving the US   
   in a conflict that I do not think they can ever win, or at least not the way   
   they're going about it.   
      
      
   The time to bring our entire military force home from both Europe and the   
   South Pacific areas, and only present an American military presence by regular   
   naval force\heavy bomber patrols of European\Souteast Asian waters, has long   
   since past. We have no more business aiding and abetting Israel in its   
   agressiveness\beligerance toward Palistinians, than Hitler had in his invasion   
   of first Austria....then Chekoslovakia....and then Poland (which precipitated   
   WWII).   
      
      
   Aside from what the politicians have been pusing both on the American people   
   as a whole...and the entire world generally...we have no more right to   
   `impose' the condition of *democracy* on anybody, than Hitler had in forcing   
   `Facism'....nor Stalin forcing Communism...on the various countries they   
   overran and ruled.   
      
      
   You hear politicians expound on `the bounded duty of America' to spread   
   `democracy' all over the world. Where the hell do they think America got the   
   authority to spread anything?   
      
      
   And...although many (and least of all the ones in our national government   
   who've been the loudest supporters of Israel) do not as yet see it clearly,   
   all our recognition of...and support of....Israel, since that fuckin' Harry   
   Truman stood up in the UN in `48, and got the ball rolling by `recognizing'   
   Israel as a `sovereign nation', we are now embroiled in a war with a bunch of   
   fanatics who are no better than the Nazis or Stalinist-type Communists ever   
   were, are in fact absolutely determined to destroy us...thanks to Israel.

   If, in the course of learning the identity-whereabouts of individual leaders   
   of al Qaida, some folks of the terrorist persuasion are put to the   
   `discomfort' of a little waterboarding....I have no problem with that. When I   
   hear people, or read materials from people who `deplore' water-boarding and   
   what they refer to as `torture' of those poor...helpless religious fanatics   
   who are bent on our destruction....I recall the images of those two jumbojets   
   being deliberately flown into the twin towers in Manhattan....or I recall the   
   vivid images of at least two Americans being beheaded *on-camera* by Islamic   
   pig-eaters, and those words of protest against any in-kind treatment by us   
   falls on deaf ears in my house.   
      
      
   Unless and until America makes it more costly for these fanatic animals than   
   they think worth it, to murder Americans....plan strikes against Americans   
   anywhere in the world.....this situation will never end.   
      
      
   It will also never end unless and until we completely cease all aid except   
   that of a humanitarian nature, to Israel.....the Islamic fanatics will never   
   leave us alone.   
      
      
   We are `giving' millions in aid to Egypt....and this new president of theirs   
   getting elected...and the example of this past 9\11 anniversary in Egypt...has   
   shown us just how grateful they are! They are making a mockery of us and our   
   `assistance' to them....and the assholes in our national government, including   
   the grinning idiot in the White House pretending to be a leader....keep paying   
   this `aid' to them! The mainstream media completely ignore the four-hundred   
   pound gorilla in the room: our politicians are PAYING our deadly enemies (al   
   Qaida AND The Muslim Brotherhood...which I've always suspected are one and the   
   same thing, merely two `arms' of the same `beast') to slaughter us at every   
   opportunity.

   Unless and until we get some `hawks' in both the Congress AND the White House,   
   and start an attrition rate war with the Islamic fanatics that even THEY are   
   smart enough to see they cannot win....this will never end. And this should be   
   coupled with our backing away from Israel...not letting Israel pretty much   
   `dictate' our relations with Middle-Eastern countries, especially those from   
   whom we were purchasing oil. We would still have a relatively in-expensive   
   source of oil in that region of the world...were it not for Israel leading us
