Hello Bob,              On Wed 2012-Dec-05 08:35, BOB KLAHN (1:123/140) wrote to FRANK SCHEIDT:               FS> I've been following national politics since FDR's first        FS> election. Our political leaders used to understand compromise is how       things get done, but the ideologues are       driving the bus now. Screw compromise, our way or no way.       I want to see them push it over the edge, I know, real       average folks are gonna get hurt, but let's really show       average folks in this country what these disgusting       creatures are doing to them.              Not just will welfare recipients not get their checks, but       neither will soldiers and sailors, nor will cops and firemen in many cases.        Bring it all to a screeching halt and let       these ideologues see what they've wrought. LEt's just see       how long folks can go without the politicos figuring out       that some give and take is necessary, and discussing it       reasonably.              I said it when we came close to one of those shutdowns in       the '90's. I'll say it again every time this comes to a       head. LEt's let 'em go all the way with my way or no way.       Maybe they'll learn something, but then, maybe not. Maybe       the sheeple won't bring enough pressure on them to make them figure out what       it's really about. That is until they cut       off the cable tv.              Sign me tired of the politics of "screw you, you're not one       of us!"                     Regards,        Richard       ...
