Hello John,               JM>> I have already informed the two BO        JM>> supporters that worked for me that they are history. A               BK>> You just confessed to a crime. Please do not do that in this        BK>> echo.               JM>> Sorry Bob, It's not a crime in Ga. So pound sand.               BK>> John, my statement may not be accurate,              JM>It isn't.              Louisiana and Georgia have similar laws concerning employment.       In Ohio (and the Frozen Nawth) things are much different.               BK>> I do believe it is a violation of federal law, not Georgia law,        BK>> to threaten or punish people for how they vote or who they        BK>> support in a federal election. It's called extortion.               BK>> That was the basis for my statement, not Georgia law.IS NOT              JM>It is against the law to threaten or punish people for how they       JM>vote or who they support in a federal election.              We do not have federal elections in this country. We have       state elections. We have local elections. But never federal       elections.              JM>You are right it is called extortion.              It would be, if such a thing as federal elections existed.              JM>However that IS NOT what happened. It was AFTER the election and       JM>there is no Fed law preventing the pricks from being fired.              How can there be? After all, we do not have federal elections       in this country. Don't believe me? Read the US Constitution.              JM>So like I said whine on to some one who gives a shit about it.              There is plenty to whine about concerning voting in this country.       Far too many people are disenfranchised today, in ways that should       never be. For example, why should age be a factor as to who should       be allowed to vote and who should not? Why should folks who have       done time in prison be denied the right to vote? Why should folks       who are currently in prison be denied the right to vote? Why should       folks who are in mental institutions be denied the right to vote?       What about folks in nursing homes? What about folks on death row?       What about folks who are comatose?              We need to amend the US Constitution to allow everybody the right       to vote, no matter who they are or where they may be. That includes       babies and old folks alike, the living and the dead ...              --Lee              --- MesNews/1.06.00.00-gb        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
