   Hello Bob,

LL>> As such, the televangelist had to watch his words so as not
LL>> to offend any members of The 700 Club else it become The
    LL>> 666 Club.

    BK>> I'll remember that one.

LL>> Give the devil his due. :)

   BK>You're not the devil...though I am torn, should I say, "You're
BK>not that bad", or "You're not that good"?

Like Muhammad Ali, "I am the *GREATEST*!"

LL>> As if that was not enough to convince folks that Petreaus is
LL>> a good man who has done nothing wrong, Robertson continued -

LL>> "The man's off in a foreign land and he's lonely and here's
    LL>> a good-looking lady throwing herself at him. He's a man."

BK>> IOW, it's only sinning when you're not lonely?

LL>> Of course. Do keep in mind that Pat Robertson and his
LL>> future wife had a child out of wedlock, as revealed to the
LL>> world when he ran for president. You do remember that,
LL>> don't you? Don't you? I know you do. And if you don't,
    LL>> here's a reminder -

BK>Yes, I remember. But he wasn't as holy then.

Like Jesse Jackson, he was a "disseminator of public information."
What a strange year that was. Three preachers running for president.
Jesse Jackson, Pat Robertson, and Walter Mondale. And look who won.
   God himself, Ronald Reagan.

LL>> Did you hear Pat Robertson whining like Jimmy Swaggert "I
LL>> have sinned!" No way! Pat Robertson is perfect! Not like
LL>> those other preachers and politicians who cannot keep their
    LL>> pants unzipped...

BK>> He's a man is an excuse many men have used? "I'm just a man
    BK>> after all".

LL>> That's right! The Bill Clinton excuse! And why people
    LL>> forgave him!

BK>Like I said, 90% of the men wanted to do what he did, and half
BK>the women wanted to be the woman he did it with.

Bill Clinton left office with the highest approval rating in
American history, even higher than Ronald Reagan. And if he were
to run again, he would win. Regardless of who his opponent(s)
   might be.

Not that I expect Bill Clinton to be that foolish. After all,
his wife wants the job, and will not be denied ...
