Hello Richard,

    RW>> YEah I know, but ...

LL>> But what? Asians have to eat, too.

   RW>YEah I know, it's kinda habit forming.
RW>As for but what ... but don't come across to me as some
RW>kind of great job creator and bringer of prosperity when
RW>it's all done with lies and bs.

Romney did create a number of temporary jobs during his quest
for the presidency. Unfortunately, all those folks have since
been laid off, thanks to Obama. Yes, it really is Obama's fault.

RW>> Hmmm, KB toy was a thriving popular destination at many
RW>> shopping malls across the country. IT went Toes up under
RW>> the guidance of MItt Romney.

RW>> Yep, job creators, maybe for minimum wage drones, or more
RW>> like they created an opportunity to do a job on the
    RW>> taxpayers.

LL>> Bob K. hates for me to bring this up, but in many cases folks are
LL>> much better off not working at all. By working, those very same
LL>> folks deny themselves government benefits they would otherwise be
LL>> entitled to. I call them "the working poor." They earn too much to
LL>> qualify for govermnet benefits, but do not earn enough to pay for
LL>> those same things on the open market (food, rent, health care,
    LL>> prescription drugs, etc.).

RW>> WE make more of them all the time as they go to work at
RW>> Walmart. ,yup> I know people who must work "under the
RW>> table" so as to keep those life saving benefits, because if
RW>> they didn't have them they couldn't pay for the medications
    RW>> that keep them alive.

LL>> We have a system that is broken, needing to be fixed. But nobody
LL>> (politicians) wants to fix the system as that would upset the status
LL>> quo. Better to leave things as they are rather than take a chance
LL>> of getting booted out of office.

RW>Yeup, lost a good bench tech in the last year, I couldnt'
RW>afford to under the table him as far under as he needed me
RW>to go, and if I didn't he waas that close to the line of
RW>losing his government stipend, and more importantly, the
RW>medical that would go along with it. But then, if I pay
RW>him totally under the table i hurt somebody else, and myself.
RW>Whatever, a skilled craftsman finds it more cost effective
RW>to idle his hands and not use his skills because working
RW>for me, and at least one oother enterprise would cost him.
RW>HE wants to work, likes his work. Oh well.

Folks in third world countries never have to worry about any of that.
Those who can afford insurance have insurance and hence have access to
quality health care. Those who cannot afford insurance are given the
same access to quality health care. The same goes for prescription
drugs. This country may have the best health care in the world, but
it is far from accessible for many people. I have said it many times
before, and I'll say it again - if something is not affordable, it is
   not accessible.

And housing. Even the homeless are guaranteed housing by virtue of
"squatter's rights". It is a crying shame that here in America we have
veterans who are indigent and homeless, as if what they did for this
country doesn't matter. We should hang our collective heads in shame.

RW>> I get real tired of listening to these people piss moan and
RW>> whine about some guy getting food stamps when they look the
RW>> other way at billions of largess bestowed upon crooks on
    RW>> Wall Street.

LL>> Lots of everyday folks invest in Wall Street. Most of them
LL>> indirectly, and not with a lot a cash to worry about. So please. Do
LL>> realize not everyone is a crook. :)

RW>> Right, but the crooks are the guys who take those average
RW>> folks for the big ride, but I think you knew that's waht I
    RW>> meant.

LL>> Yeah. But sometimes folks can take my words too literally,
LL>> thinking I am being serious. Many people are dependent on 401(k)
LL>> plans, and other retirement plans, thinking their retirement is
LL>> safely tucked away. However, lots of folks found out the hard way
LL>> that such retirement plans are not as solid as they once seemed...

RW>Right, because the managers bought into the snake oil.
RW>PEnsion funds and the like lost too.

Money talks. People listen. But for every winner, there is a loser.
In order to make money you have to spend money. Preferably other
people's money. That is how the game is played. Some folks play it
well, others not so well. Such is life.

RW>> As for the great occupy movement, it was anotehr bad joke.

LL>> The occupy wall street movement has transformed itself into being
    LL>> the occupy sandy movement.

    RW>>

LL>> I was making a serious comment. And you think I was joking?

RW>I figured you might be, but they'll probably be as effective
RW>at that as they were at occupying Wall Street .

And just as temporary. I mean, them joisey girls can only
put up with them for so long...
