Hello John,               JM>> Calling someone or something racist no longer means anything.               LL>> Kanye West called GWB a racist. Not me. In any event, you might        LL>> not find such words as meaning anything. However, GWB said he was        LL>> greatly offended that Kanye West called him a racist, emphatically        LL>> stating "I'm not a racist!" Of course, all those black folks who        LL>> had lost their homes and belongings in New Orleans did not believe        LL>> him. Any guesses why?               JM>> You leftist have seen to that.               LL>> I'm not a leftist. I'm a patriot. What are you?              JM>smarter than you.              Being "smarter than you" did not help the British in either       the Revolutionary War or the War of 1812.              When I was in grade school, one of my teachers was from England.       She enjoyed telling us stories about WWII, and how valiant the British       people were in defense of their homeland from the Nazis. Every now       and then, one of us students would say something to the effect that       Americans are also very brave, defending this country from invasion.       That kind of set her off, telling us the British "let" us win the       Revolutionary War so that we would fall flat on our butts, at which       time the British would come back as we would gladly welcome being       reunited with the Crown, noting the mistake her beloved British made       was waiting too long. We would giggle at her tales, and pretend to       believe every word she said. You see, as first graders we loved to       tease. To see her face turn beet red and scold us in the Queen's       English was just oh so much fun. She finally caught on to what we       were doing late in the school year when the whole class stated       singing "Yankee Doodle Dandy" in unison, the kindly nun sending me       to the principal's office for having conducted the class.              --Lee              --- MesNews/1.06.00.00-gb        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
