Y'all come back now, yahear!"                     A lot of people don't realize that the push to criminalize       marijuana, and by extension hemp came from Dupont adn the       other chemical companies who wanted to sell synthetic fibers for cordage. YEt       those synthetic fibers weren't as long       lasting, nor as versatile as good ol' hemp.              The fact that certain varieties of hemp had psychotropic       characteristics just made it easier for them to go to a few       pet physicians who wanted political patronage or other       favors, and pass around plenty of money.                     Regards,        Richard       ...
