Hello Matt,               LL>> The American people re-elected President Barack Obama to another        LL>> four-year term. And it wasn't even close. The Great One has done        LL>> wonders in his first term, and he will do even greater things in        LL>> his second term. So don't worry. Be happy. And be glad you live        LL>> in America - the greatest country in the world.              MM>Until Obama stops the marajuana raids              The President of the United States takes an oath of office       that *requires* him/her to actually *defend* the US Constitution,       not merely to uphold it. As such, President Obama has no choice       but to enforce existing federal legislation in regards to pot       farms. The same would be true if a Libertarian candidate were       to win the Presidency.              MM>and reduces his droid bombings,              Unmanned drones have been around for a long time, their use       in wartime coming into common use during the administration of       GWB. President Obama has ordered the use of drones on an even       more massive scale. This is the wave of the future, the way       wars will be fought, not just by this country but also by many       other countries as well. I am not saying that I agree with       this, at least not on the scale drones are being used today,       and apparently planned in the future, but drones are part       of our arsenal.              The USA has nukes. I hope and pray those nukes are never used.       I also hope and pray no other country uses nukes. But nukes are       part of our arsenal. And I doubt this country will ever rid       itself of nukes. Does that mean I will support only those       presidential candidates whose position is to get rid of our       nuclear stockpile?              MM>I will not be entirely happy.              I am never entirely happy with any president.       And I doubt I ever will be. If I am, please call       the nuthouse and have the men in white suits pick       me up.              MM>But Im still pleased he beat Romney.              A Romney administration would have been a disaster.       But at least it would have been limited to being a 4-year       disaster. OTOH, the clean-up afterwards might have taken       far longer...              --Lee              --- MesNews/1.06.00.00-gb        * Origin: news://felten.yi.org (2:203/2)    |
