   The courts have overturned several Republican attempts to   
   suppress the vote.  Why?  Because those Republican attempts   
   of voter suppression were ILLEGAL/UNCONSTITUTIONAL.   
      
   The election results clearly demonstrated that Republican   
   dirty tricks backfired, as Obama supporters went to the polls   
   in record numbers, giving President Obama another lopsided win,   
   with almost the same number of electoral votes as four years   
   ago.  As well as winning the popular vote nationwide.   
      
   Republicans (and conservatives) are going to have to come   
   to grips with reality and accept an inconvenient truth - their   
   ideology has been soundly rejected by the American voting public.   
   And until they change their tune, Republicans and conservatives   
   will remain on the sidelines, watching Democrats and progressives   
   rule the day (and the night).   
      
   The coming of Obama is the shape of things to come.  No more   
   will Americans accept the racist and bigoted policies of the past.   
   Minorities have banded together, along with working class whites,   
   to shape this country into what it should have become decades ago.   
   While it is still a work in progress, this coalition will finish   
   what it started.  Not only has change come to America, but real   
   change is a-happenin'.  And that is a good thing.
