BK> some of that kinda small.

Dittto! Most farmers with a lot in land aren't going to
leave that to their kids, even if they sold the farmland.
But, perception is everything, you know that. The folks who want it repealed
will spend big money telling Joe Sixpack
that he can't leave his kids his white house with the picket fence and the
garage to his kids, and he'll swallow it, hook line sinker rod and reel.

BK>> Oh, I want to do away with almost all welfare. Simple to do, just
BK>> make sure there are enough jobs to go around.

RW> A nice thought, see below.

BK> Hey, I didn't say it would happen.

   YEah there's that.

RW> Good luck with that! The trade advocates will never go for
RW> it, and to compete with those folks we have to toss
RW> workplace safety under the bus as well. We get a good

RW> keep a healthy productive populace.

BK> Don't worry, if Romney gets elected we will get to start all over
BK> again, in the un-United States of America. I plan to live in
   BK> North-Easter land.

Were tthe breakup of the United States to occur I'd probably head for the
upper midwest again before the job was
completely done. yes, a lot of rural, but a fairly well
   educated populace.

RW> I'm not saying I like that option, but, it's the better bad
RW> choice. The only other choice is none for anybody who
RW> can't afford to pay for it. A healthy educated populace is
RW> productive, and a benefit to itself. An unhealthy poorly
    RW> educated populace is dangerous!

BK> Exactly. The best of a bad lot of choices.

Right, and when given a menu of bad choices I'll try to go
for the one which is least bad. The point for me is a well
educated healthy populace. All one need do is look at the
middle east to see what the opposite would do for you.

BK>> Uh... yeah... that should be obvious... or do creationists
BK>> really believe God made us so much better than everyone else that
BK>> we don't have to make any effort?

RW> YEs they do. 'consider the lillies of the field, they toil
    RW> not ... "

RW> I may have paraphrased that wrong, sorry 'bout that. Been
RW> awhile since I saw that passage.

BK> I do believe you got it right.

Right, but the only time that don't apply in their minds is
when itcomes to those less fortunate than they are. but
then, the creationists etc. have made common cause with
people who don't have their best interests at heart either.
Or, I should say, big money has made common cause with the
relation fanatics for reasons of political expedience.
They've been duped, and aren't sharp enough to realize it.
