RW>> I haven't believed the two majors are good for average
RW>> folks in this country for a long time though. Still, I
RW>> truly believe that ROmney coupled with the tea party is
RW>> dangerous to personal liberty and freedom in this country.

   BK>> Truly seriously.

RW> I'm dead serious. Along with that, I'm rather disgusted
RW> with a bunch of octogenarians telling me bs instead of
RW> loking at the future with anything other than all this
    RW> whining about national debt.

Esp since the great majority of that debt was accumulated under
three republican anti-tax presidents. Even what has accumulated
under Obama is a small portion by comparison.

RW> where's talk of improving our
RW> infrastructure to meet future needs? What about folks like
RW> my grandson, who's a senior in high school these days? "we

Yep. Shut down all the public colleges. If you can't afford a
private college you are a peasant and deserve nothing.

RW> want handsome" they tell us. Screw handsome! How about
RW> seeing what needs to be done re alternative energy
RW> production, improving the electrical distribution grid to
RW> meet future needs, repair and upgrading our transportation
    RW> infrastructure, etc.

    You damn liberal!

RW> You put people to work at other than 30 hours or less a
RW> week at Walmart then you have the money for medical care for
RW> octogenarians. oTherwise, I'm sorry, but we just can't
    RW> afford it!

Yep. I've been saying that all along. We need jobs, and we need
    to bring back the factories.

RW> YEt I still see a lot of apathy among young working age
RW> folks. they don't figure that it makes any difference
RW> whether they vote for tweedle ddumb or tweedle dumber.
RW> Can't blame them, it's more for the plutocracy, screw them!
RW> iT isn't going to improve their lives whichever one they
RW> vote for. The only thing I get from both parties when
RW> trying to talk to our younger voters is "drop your pants
    RW> and bend over."

Obama doesn't know, Romney doesn't care. They actually believe
the interest rate on student loans is a problem. Hell no! It's
    the student loans themselves.

RW> I keep telling my grandson to be careful to go into a field
RW> that can't be outsourced to China or somewhere similar.

Which everyone else will be trying to get into.

    Here's one for you...

Medical bills are a major factor in over 50% of bankruptcies. So
businesses lose their money, and debtors wind up with little or
nothing, but the medical industry, the cause of so many
bankruptcies, is protected against the disaster they caused.

Repeal the Bankruptcy (De)reform act of 2005 or whenever, and
let hospitals and doctors share the risks with the rest of us.

Why would colleges and universities hold costs down, when
students can get loans for any amount they need? Why would
lenders not give out those loans, as long as they are guaranteed
they will get their money back?

And people wonder why the cost of education keeps rising faster
than inflation, and yet students have debts they can't pay back.
