    Asteroid?  Just last week I was watching the History Channel and they say it's   
   the fact the dark hole at the center of our universe will align behind the sun   
   and the earth, thus causing the sun to do all kinds of funny things.  Solar   
   flares for example which may impact all forms of communication.   
      
   No mention of an astroid though.  :)
